Ismael Lozano,  “Glitch Explorer”

During the development process of the glitch, the artist discovered that the technique is limited to the modification and mechanical destruction of the original element. An unceasing desire to look for new ways of expression was stimulated and he then started to include other processes. He added different techniques and digital programs that allowed him to achieve a wider range of expressions.

The resulting works convey a series of proposals that the author presents as new ways of expression.

These displays of expression are meant to reach beyond the conventional limits and disciplines of artistic appreciation.

The most traditional pictorial elements i.e. colours and shapes, are incorporated into the new technologies. The result surpasses the traditional thresholds creating a renovation in artistic expression.
